Since my senior year of high school, I have had an urge to pursue a career in financial markets due to my upbringing. My family and I moved to the United States shortly before the 2008 Recession, and as immigrants, we suffered and got by during those hard times. Naturally, growing up during this period I didn’t notice anything other than ‘hard times’. Once I began studying finance in high school, and learned of the 2008 Recession and the causes and repercussions. I was disheartened  with the financial system and wanted to work in auditing or as an attorney in financial regulations to elevate standards across finance. During my years in university that desire transformed into prioritizing the path to being a financial advisor when I networked with other great advisors in the local community of Billings, Montana. They viewed their path as a caretaker, a planner, and a consultant to the people we serve in the community.
